Self-published author and freelance writer for magazines and corporations. Develop and deliver motivational and creativity building programs for a wide range of corporate and charity organizations throughout Asia and the U.S.A. Work simultaneously as a professional artist, organizing and holding solo exhibitions as well as producing commissioned paintings for institution and private clients.

1995-1997 PepsiCo Restaurants International, Singapore
Marketing Public Relations Manager


Planned, project managed and executed all company public relations programs for KFC, Pizza Hut and PepsiCo Restaurants International (PRI) in Singapore. Responsibilities included: developing brand building PR strategies to expand company reputation as a caring corporate citizen and model employer, developing media relations, managing large scale events and conferences, producing corporate collateral and videos and managing customer relations.

- Managed PRI's participation in National Council of Social Services Disability Campaign, culminating in the awarding of the 1996 Model Employer Award to PRI, Singapore.
- Produced and managed the PepsiCo / Star Wars Charity Premier.
- Managed Tricon Founder's Day Celebration and KFC's Colonel Sanders look-a-like tour.
- Produced ten recruitment, training and public relations videos and two TV commercials.


1992-1995 PepsiCo Restaurants International, Asia, Hong Kong
Communications Manager


Developed and executed all internal and external corporate and marketing communications for KFC and Pizza Hut which operate 2,500 restaurants in 28 countries throughout Asia and the Middle East. Responsibilities included: developing PRI-Asia's regional public relations strategy, managing PRI's regional public relations events and press trips, writing/illustrating and publishing quarterly regional newsletters, speech writing for the CEO, managing audio-visual production and staging for large scale international conferences and writing/directing all corporate videos used for public relations and training.

- Managed the Grand Opening in Shanghai, China, of KFC's 9,000th restaurant worldwide.
- Managed all audio-visual requirements for regional conferences.
- Produced 12 regional marketing and training videos including three on KFC's Team Challenge.

1991-1992 Satellite Television Asia Region, STAR TV, Hong Kong
Producer, Prime Sports


Prime Sports is STAR TV's 24-hour sports network focusing on sporting events from around the world. Managed and produced all aspects of Prime Sports' programming including copy-writing, editing, narrating and designing video graphics. Produced advertisements, product promotions and documentaries. Responsible for coordinating all live transmissions.

Producer & Writer


Responsible for scripting and video production including sourcing, digitizing and computer editing of all video materials used in the production and manufacturing of six CD-ROM titles.

1990-1991 One World Channel, Norway, South Pacific & Asia
Producer & Writer, TV documentary series "Return of Marco Polo"


Produced, wrote, edited and anchored a series of twenty-five 30-minute documentaries aired weekly throughout Europe. Program production was carried out entirely on board a ship which sailed throughout the South Pacific and Asia over the course of a year charting ancient trade routes.

1988-1990 Overseas Radio & Television, Taipei, Taiwan
Radio Program-Host, Writer & Illustrator


Overseas Radio & Television produces educational radio and television programs and magazines which teach the English language throughout Taiwan and China. Co-hosted two 30-minute English radio programs which aired daily throughout Taiwan. Responsible for producing and editing all on-air materials. Additional responsibilities included writing articles and creating illustrations for the company's English teaching magazines which were adjuncts to the radio programs and were rated the two top selling magazines in Taiwan.

Directed, produced and scripted sixty 50-minute English teaching video programs for local and international distribution. Responsible for concept and execution of entire series as well as casting, staging and editing.
