Covid is behind us, but it changed all of us.
We Rebounded, galvanized by every piece of news with corresponding highs and lows. Yet despite the upheaval, there was still an undercurrent of optimism I chose to connect with. Though I struggled to push the boulder uphill, I Reconnected with that which I knew to be good and uplifting. Though I got mired in the fear and fallout generated by politics and the pandemic, like a sailboat tracking the good wind, I continued to steer upstream keeping hope alive. I believed we were undergoing a Rebirth. I felt a Renaissance and a Resurrection taking place where optimism was arm-wrestling pessimism. Painting is what I did to keep myself positive and moving forward with some semblance of progress. It was a step I could take to Release, and find the silver linings. I am grateful that we have emerged with more colors in our palette and hope we continue to cherish the people and processes we leaned on to get us through.
